About this coffee
For the second time, we purchased coffee from Jean-Yves Duriaux's family farm El Jaguar and last year he came by our roasting facility to try out his assortment with our team. This special place is located in a cloud forest in the Jinotega region of Nicaragua. Driven by a passion for conservation and coffee, the Duriaux family combines agroforestry with innovative processing methods. This lot underwent careful anaerobic fermentation and slow drying. As a result, it produced complex and expressive coffee with taste notes of cherry, caramel, plum, and ganache.
