Produced by the Sajama cooperative in Caranavi, La Paz, this organic specialty coffee is developed by 42 small-scale farmers who work together to achieve exceptional quality from bean to cup. The cooperative focuses on sustainable farming, quality control, and fair trade, strengthening its members through training and joint decision-making. The result is a pure, balanced coffee with a lively aroma and an authentic origin character.
Indonesia - Sumatra Gayo Highlands This coffee is a premium, triple-sorted and wet-hulled lot from the Gayo Highlands of Sumatra, Indonesia. This BIO-certified coffee is developed by small-scale farmers, many of whom are affiliated with cooperatives. The unique wet-hulling (or soaking) processing method, typical for Indonesia, gives the coffee its distinctive deep, aromatic and sweet flavor profile. This process was developed in this region due to the high humidity and irregular rainfall they often encounter. The coffee undergoes a stringent sorting process where green beans are checked three times to guarantee exceptional quality before being sent out.
