About this coffee
Venezuela has a coffee tradition that dates back to the 18th century and was once one of the world's largest coffee-exporting countries. After years of political and economic instability, the sector is now focusing again on quality and specialty coffee. This coffee comes from Hacienda Mama Teresa, a family-run farm in Boconó’s mountains that has been growing coffee since 1973 and working to preserve the natural environment where the coffee grows. The result is pronounced but approachable coffee with tones of sweet blueberries and red apples, and a smooth, mellow finish.
