This decaf coffee comes from small farms (1–10 ha) in the mountains of Santander, one of Colombia’s oldest and most traditional coffee regions. Grown at elevations between 1,300 and 1,750 meters, the area offers ideal conditions with rich soils, diverse microclimates, and abundant water. Key municipalities include San Gil, Barichara, Socorro, Vélez, and others.
This coffee is decaffeinated using natural ethyl acetate from sugarcane. The gentle process preserves flavor by avoiding high heat and removing over 97% of caffeine. After extraction, the beans are steamed and dried to maintain quality and moisture. Clean, natural, and full of taste.
